Can we listen to music on the boat?
  • Yes, every boat is equipped with bluetooth speakers.
Can anyone drive the boat?
  • The driver must be 21 years of age and hold a valid drivers license.
How do we navigate the estuary?
  • Before departure you will receive a safety briefing and map that includes the boundaries for safe cruising.
How many people can come on the boat?
  • Maximum capacity is 10 passengers.
Are there bathrooms on the boats?
  • No, but you will find a public restroom next to our reception area at the marina.
Does everyone have to wear a life jacket?
  • Children aged 13 and under are required to wear a life jacket at all times while onboard the boat. Others will find life jackets under the seats of boat.
Do we need to sign a liability waiver?
  • A liability and damage waiver are required before departing the dock.
Do you allow pets onboard the boats?
  • We only allow service animals on our boats. Thanks for your understanding.
How do you charge us for our boat rental?
  • You will be charged in full at the time of reservation. You can reserve online through our website or by calling us.
Do you require a damage deposit?
  • 24 hours prior to your reservation, a $500 security hold will be placed to the credit card on file to ensure that the boat is returned without damage. The hold will be released once the boat is brought back to our dock without any damage and you are not subject to additional fines. Depending on your card, it may take up to 48 hours for the security hold to be released.
How much is it to rent a boat?
  • We require a minimum 2 hour rental. Our standard 2 hour rental rate is $250 plus taxes and fees. Each additional hour is $125. If you would like to rent a boat for more than 2 hours, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you!
What is your cancellation policy?
  • At the time that you book your charter, you will charged in full. Customers must provide a 24 hour notice to reschedule their charter to a new day or exchange the amount paid for their reservation into a gift card credit. If your reservation is not cancelled prior to 24 hours before your scheduled rental time, no refund or credit will be provided. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to reschedule or inquire about a cancellation. No shows will be charged the full price.
Where do I park?
  • There is parking available at the marina as well as at the public parking lot at the Grand St. boat ramp adjacent to the marina.
Can I bring my own food and drinks on board?
  • Absolutely! We encourage you to bring food and drinks. We do have limited snacks available for purchase onsite. We encourage you to check out local restaurants including our next door neighbors at Mosley's Cafe. Stay tuned for some exciting collaborations with local restaurants in the near future!
What is your mask policy during COVID-19?
  • We adhere to Alameda County Department of Environmental Health Guidelines. All individuals over the age of three are required to wear a mask in any public space. Once you are on the water with your group, you may remove your masks to enjoy your lunch and drinks. You are required to wear your mask as you disembark the boat until you return to your vehicle. 
What extra steps are you taking to clean boats and common areas?
  • All of our boats are cleaned thoroughly between rentals with CDC and EPA recommended disinfectants. We spend extra time on high touch surfaces to ensure your health and safety. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have had known contact with anyone who has tested positive we ask that you reschedule your cruise for a later date.
